Welsh 3000s List
There are 15 Welsh 3000s, in three areas of the Eryri (Snowdonia). There are 3 in the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Massif, 5 in the Glyderau Range and 7 in the Carneddau Range. A quiz relating to the Welsh 4000s can be found at Quiz - Welsh 3000s
During COVID lockdowns, when most of us couldn't get to the hills, we started exploring mountains onlline using various websites. Although not as good as being physically in the mountains, it was the next best thing and the only possible way to enjoy the hills during lockdown. We then produced some web pages for all of the 4,000 ft peaks in Scotland and all of the 3,000 ft peaks in England and Wales. We called this our Virtual Peak Bagging resource.
