Welsh 3000s - North
There are seven Furths in this group, north of the Ogwen Valley and east of the Nant Francon Valley. They are all in the Carneddau (the plural of Carnedd) Range, which stretches from the Ogwen Valley northwards to the coast. All but one are whale-backed plateaus covered with wild grass and heather but with occastional rock outcrops and boulder fields. The area, in many respects, is similar to the Cairngorms in Scotland, but generally 1,000 ft lower. It is the largest contiguous area of high ground (over 2,500 or 3,000 ft) in England and Wales and parts of it are very remote.
In keeping with our south to north virtual peak bagging for Wales and England, we have ordered them accordingly below.

The link to the Walkhighlands entry for each mountain provides descriptions and maps of walking routes. Some also have GPX routes that you can download to a GPS device.
There are currently no Street View hill walking routes in the Carneddau.
