English 3000s List
There are only 6 English 3000s, all in the Lake District, in three areas. There are 4 in the Scafell Range in the Southern Fells and 2 in isolated areas in the Eastern and Northern Fells. A quiz relating to the Englsh 3000s can be found at Quiz - English 3000s
During COVID lockdowns, when most of us couldn't get to the hills, we started exploring mountains onlline using various websites. Although not as good as being physically in the mountains, it was the next best thing and the only possible way to enjoy the hills during lockdown. We then produced some web pages for all of the 4,000 ft peaks in Scotland and all of the 3,000 ft peaks in England and Wales. We called this our Virtual Peak Bagging resource.
