Camp Details '24
The camp is aimed at young people in Year 9 and above, but younger Company Section members can attend, if they are adventurous, physically fit, well equipped and act responsibly. Leaders are welcome to attend, if they bring young people or have qualifications that would allow them to lead activities. Young Leaders (up to 26) are also welcome to attend the camp and can use it as a low-price 5-night Gold DofE Residential, if there is nobody else that they know present at the camp.
Providing we have sufficient leaders, we would hope to allow up to 3 young people from a company to attend this camp without any leaders from their own company attending.
The camp fees for 2024 are expected to be as follows. But they be reduced, if we can obtain some grants to subsidise the camp or if numbers attending are high enough to achieve economies of scale.
Leaders can opt to take part or not take part in the CMC Adventure activities, which will affect the fee that they pay, as CMC Adventure charge more for adults than they do for young people.
