Adventure Camp - Details
The camp is ideallly aimed at young people in Year 9 and above, but younger Company Section members can attend, if they are adventurous, physically fit, well equipped and act responsibly. Leaders are welcome to attend, if they bring young people or have qualifications that would allow them to lead activities. Young Leaders (up to 26) are also welcome to attend the camp and can use it as a 5-night Gold DofE Residential, if there is nobody else that they know present at the camp.
Providing we have sufficient leaders, we would hope to allow up to three young people from a company to attend this camp without any leaders from their own company attending. So, leaders could leave young people at Dyffryn Ardudwy after Unite or parents could drop young people off on the Monday, and they could be picked up on the following Saturday.
The camp fees for 2024 are expected to be as follows:
Leaders can opt to take part or not take part in the CMC Adventure activities, which will affect the fee that they pay, as CMC Adventure charge considerably more for adults than they do for young people.
